We stayed here for 1 night after walking along the Cleveland Way. We were welcomed by the owner who was lovely and informative. There is a little shop in the hut where you check in. We had the choice of 2 pitches but at this point it was quite windy and had started raining. Tents quickly pitched and once inside apart from using the loo (which were clean and tidy) we didn't come out of the tents again! We had what felt like gale force winds all night but got up the next morning to glorious sunshine. We had to leave early to walk back to Scarborough so missed the opening time of the tea rooms down the road. We didn't make the most of our visit but I'm sure on a nice sunny day it would be lovely.- Tracey
